[Broadband] Openreach Statement – ADVISORY
We have received the following statement from BT Openreach:
You will be aware that over the weekend large parts of the country were affected by freezing temperatures resulting in widespread snow and ice.
This update is to advise you that all operations are running normally, but please be aware that some localised disruption may be experience. All major routes appear to be clear, however some rural and side roads in the affected areas do remain un-treated which may cause travel/access issues.
At this stage the weather has only had a limited impact on our network and operational teams, however it is likely that we will see an increase in fault volumes due to overhead damage and localised flooding as the snow melts.
We will continue to monitor the situation and will advise if the situation changes.
